**::ISLAM AND WOMEN::***
How Does Islam View Women?
Many in the Western world think that Islam discriminates against women and does not give them rights; however, this reveals the ignorance of those who think thus. In fact, Islam was the religion that gave women their rights between people who use to berry infant females, because they were ashamed of girls forgetting that their own mothers are females (Altakwir).
Islam made all people equal regardless their race, sex or skin color (Alhujorat). This was one of the mane reasons why Islam was admired by many around the world, and it is why those who are weaker loved it and converted to it first.
Islam and Working Women:
Islam does not oppose to the idea that women should work and make money; however, to organize life, Islamic culture says that women cook and raise children, while men work outside and make money. This does not decrease the role of women, but it makes it a lot more important; first of all, cooking is work, and raising children is way more important than one can possibly imagine.
Children are the future generations and it is really important they should be raised properly to have a healthy society. Therefore, the fact that Islam in trusted raising children to mothers reveals that this religion trusted women to the point where it gave it such a critical and sensitive mission.
All new surveys and studies show that children do best when they have their mothers around them when they are young. Moreover, most of those women who actually work do cook and raise children too. This means that women’s responsibilities are significantly increasing when they do work outside to make money. On the other hand, there are many mothers who do not care for their children, but instead, they buy fast-food and get baby sitters for the kids. Is this a good way to raise the “Future Generation?”
Islam, Women and Work
Islam tells everybody to learn and maximize their potential and thus, it is okay for women who are unmarried, do not have children or have extra time to work as long as it does not interfere with the necessary care that is needed for the kids. Moreover, there are many important and well known women in Islam (Khadija, Fatima Alzahraa, Zeinab, Bint Alhoda)… Some might view what is important differently than others; however, Zeinab for example lectured people several times when the massacre of Carbalaa occurred. In fact, many say that without Zeinab, Islam would not have made it until today. Also, Khadija used her money and gave her full support to her husband (Prophet Mohammed); Fatima was the best model of a good girl who raised her children very well, took very good care of her dad and husband, and thus, was the best moddle for a good woman at anytime and place. Also, Binto Alhoda, who was the sister of Ayatollah Mohammed Baqir Al-sador” was a very well educated woman in our time in the 20th century and has many books out there. In fact, perhaps this is why Sadam Hussain murdered both her and her brother Ayatollah Al-sador in 1979.
If people were to read the Qoran, Qoran gives women the right to live a good life, vote and forbids abuse entirely against women, men and children.
